在台灣，很少人敢在面試的時候直接詢問薪資或福利的相關問題。「連工作都還沒錄取，跟老闆談薪水感覺很大牌。」這樣的擔憂很有道理，但這樣也同時犧牲了自己的權益，而往往造成低薪高就的狀況。在文化不同的歐美國家，這卻是一個必要的問題。小編整理了跟面試待遇相關的用法，面試的時候一定可以派上用場！
首先，跟大家介紹薪資待遇 (salary) 和基本薪資 (minimum wage)，這兩個詞在面試或求職過程中可能用到的比較少，可是還是很重要，像小編自己在北美住過，在新的環境找工作就必須要知道那邊的 minimum wage 多少！

所以我們在面試或求職過程中到底要怎麼談判薪資和福利呢？以下提供大家三種很可能會遇到的情況和可以使用的詞彙和例句！
1. Being asked about salary expectations 被問到希望的待遇
常見的詞彙：
salary expectations 期待待遇
budget 預算
be fairly compensated 得到合理的報酬
fair offer 合理待遇
如果第一次面試就直接被問到希望的待遇，而想延緩 (defer) 薪資的討論要怎麼辦？我們來看看可以怎麼回答。
A: What are your salary expectations for this position?
你對於這個職位的薪資的期望是什麼？
B: I really need more information about the position before I can begin to discuss salary. Can you tell me the range budgeted for this position?
在我開始討論薪資前，我需要更多職缺的相關資訊。請問您能跟我說這個職位薪資預算的幅度為何？A: How much salary do you expect?
你期待的待遇是多少？
B: Before I answer that question I’d like to ask what you typically pay someone with my experience and education in this type of position.
在我回覆您這問題前，我想先問問你關於這個職位，與我有相似經驗跟教育背景的應徵者的薪資待遇大概如何？A: Would you be willing to take less pay than your current job?
你會願意領比你現在工作更低的薪資？
B: While my highest career value is not money, it is important to me that I be fairly compensated for the work I do. I would be willing to discuss a fair offer based on what I bring to this position in terms of experience.
雖然我工作上最重要的考量並不是金錢，但是對我而言，工作上合理的報酬是很重要的。我希望依照我的經驗能為這個職位做出的貢獻，討論出一個合理的待遇。
2. Initiating the discussion on salary 主動與面試官討論薪資
如果是要主動問待遇或是想要談判薪資可以用以下的例句來表示「請問你們這個職缺薪資待遇的幅度是多少？」：
Do you have a salary range in mind for this position?
Can you tell me the salary range budgeted for this position?
3. Countering an offer 協調公司開出的條件
當面談的公司已經開出條件了要怎麼再談判薪資呢？
Is this a negotiable figure?
這是可協商的數字嗎？
Is this a firm offer?
這是確定的薪資嗎？
Is this base salary only?
這是底薪嗎？
